| This is Mrs. El-Alami’s third year
as principal of Alhuda Academy. With over
10 years of teaching experience in full-time
Islamic schools, a strong expertise in school
policies and discipline, and a variety of
exposure to many curricula and teaching philosophies,
Mrs. El-Alami has been a valuable addition
to Alhuda’s tradition of excellence.
Prior to joining Alhuda Academy, Mrs. El-Alami
held the position of the acting principal
and a lead teacher at the Islamic Academy
of New England in Mansfield. She has lead
team efforts, observed and mentored teachers,
presented workshops, and investigated textbooks.
Mrs. El-Alami has completed 1 year of principal
training at Cottage Street School in Sharon,
MA. She has previously occupied the position
of the principal of AlBasha´er weekend
school in Cambridge and as a Qur´an
teacher at the Islamic Academy of New England.
Mrs. El-Alami’s wide range of experience provides
her with an inclusive understanding of the
strengths and needs of Islamic schools.
Mrs. El-Alami holds a Masters of Educational
Administration in Elementary Schools, with
a Bachelor degree in Educational Psychology.
She is fluent in English and Arabic, and capable
of communicating in French.
