Science Fair Guidelines

Dear Students,

Once again it is time to plan your Science Fair project. Here are some recommendations for making a successful project:

  1. Choose a science category that most interests you.
  2. Think about your life experiences or current events/news. Are you curious to :
    • Investigate the inner workings of ..
    • Explore the cause and effects of ..
    • Design a better solution for..
  3. Keep in mind that you should not redo projects that have already been done (including the ones you come across on a website). It is perfectly OK to use such projects for inspiration or to expand upon.
  4. Originality, creativity and attention to the scientific method are the keys to the ultimate success of your project.
