EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSINGS At times it may be necessary to close the Academy due to inclement weather. The decision to close the Academy is made in consultation with state and town authorities. The decision is made as early as possible. A message will be put on the school voice mail by 6:30 AM. Please call to find out if there is a delayed opening or cancellation for the day. WTAG and WSRS radio stations will also announce the closure or delayed opening of the school. NOTE: The school office must be notified by 9:00 AM if your child is going to be absent that day. Please also send a written note, dated and signed by a parent, when your child returns to school. Any absence of two or more days must be accompanied by a physician´s note upon the student´s return School starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 3:15 PM. Certain days will be adjusted based on the number of snow days.
