| Mrs. El-Alami, Principal A
Charitable month:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was most charitable in Ramadan.
During this month, he was described as more generous than
the flowing breeze. Rewards in this blessed month are
multiplied by 10 to 700 times and Sunnah actions are rewarded
like the obligatory ones.
Knowing that people are at their most charitable states,
we are including a list of charity options that you can
contribute to in order to benefit Alhuda Academy:
- World talk phone cards
- Box tops for education
- Cartridge for kids
- Ski Ward after school program
- Classroom wish lists
Educational institutions are always funded by their supporters.
Even Harvard University depends on Alumni and other contributors.
We, on the other hand, depend on Allah. Then we have you,
our loyal and beloved parents.
World talk phone cards:
Phone cards are available in the office. They cost $5
each. Purchase some to make those Eid calls!
Box tops:
We are reviving this old practice. Check out the brand
names on the attached sheet. Please do not underestimate
this project. Hundreds of dollars can be earned to purchase
school supplies. Starting November, a raffle will be held
at the end of each month to pick a student name from contributors
and present her / him with a prize.
Cartridge for kids:
Every year millions of pounds of inkjet, laser, fax and
copier cartridges as well as cell phones are tossed into
landfills. Cartridges For Kids is a program that
will help keep these items out of the landfills and
generate funds for our school. All you have to
do is bring to school your used printer cartridges, used
cell phones, old PDAs (Palm pilots), or discarded laptops.
Each item will generate a minimum of $0.50 up to $144.
Ski Ward after school program:
Register now through our school for the Small
Tracks after school program and Alhuda will be reimbursed
15% of the paid registration fee. Small Tracks is a one-hour
lesson offered to ages 4-7 on weekdays at 4 PM. Registration
and payments must be received before Dec 1st. For more
information, contact Ski Ward at 508-845-1797, and please
mention our school name.

Classroom
wish list:
We have collected many individual classroom wish lists
as well as a school-wide wish list. Please read through
the lists and choose to sponsor some items. We encourage
you to give monetary donations towards specific items.
Pakistan
Relief Donations:
Alhumdulillah, third grade’s count of students’ donations
added up to the amount of $335 and some pennies. May Allah
protect our students as they think of the well being of
others
Eid
gift table:
Gift tables are on display for the upcoming days until
the last day before vacation. Students are encouraged
to show kindness to relatives and friends through giving
gifts. Prices range from $1 to $10.
