PTO’s first meeting is scheduled for Nov. 2nd at
7:00 PM. PTO members have organized a complimentary dinner
for parents from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The members would like
to present their new ideas for this school year. Please
come to enjoy the food and the company. Stay to hear updates
about the school and to become an active participant in
your child’s educational experience. Remember,
The
goal of this program is to help students become more effective
speakers. Students will practice their presentations and
learn the skills of using the right words, tone, and body
movements. They will have a chance to demonstrate these
skills in the debate session that will follow the week.
Grade
5 students are the Ansar of this month. They have thought
of few ideas to help the students and the school. They
have established next week as dress down with a cost of
$1/day, which will go to teachers’ wish lists. They
would like to partner up with younger students to help
them during prayer. Furthermore, they are designating
one day to clean up the Mosque. May Allah make fifth graders
successful and accept from them.
February 9th marks the end of the first term. Please talk
to your child about being prepared for the end of term
assessments and to complete any extra credit work offered
by the teachers.
Third
grade students presented their habitat dioramas to kindergarteners
yesterday. Each third grader had researched and completed
a project about an animal and its environment. Students
were very happy on both ends of the presentations. Everyone
learned more about the presented animals and their environments.
Picture packages are included. Fill out and return to
us the day before (12th)or on the same day (13th).
Parent-teacher
conferences are scheduled differently than in previous
