a beautiful rainbow of dress up outfits. Our students
have dressed up as travelers and in favorite character
outfits.

They will receive 1 free book each.
As an additional incentive for reading, we have extended
the reading race one more week. There is a special reward
for classrooms that can make it the finish line.
Please encourage your child to continue reading after
the end of the race. Students who didn’t attempt
to read during the last 4 weeks will be given a written
assignment about the benefits of reading.
We
apologize for delaying the PTO president reelection. We
had too many events going on this week. Between the Book
Fair and the report cards, it was impossible to give this
issue any attention. The election is postponed
until next Friday the 15th.
Pancake breakfast is tomorrow,
Friday Feb. 8th. Students and parents can come
at 7:30 to have a delightful breakfast before the school
starts. Cost is $3.00 per person.
Parents are welcome to stop by the Book Fair on
their way out.
Expect
report cards as early as tomorrow.
.
We
will be sending the reenrollment forms next week. Please
take 2 minutes to fill out and return. The earlier you
send these back to us, the better our planning for next
year will be.
