Today Ladna Abdi our 6th grader will be recognized for her 2019 MAX Courage Essay winner. Student of Alhuda, who shared a very personal experience with wearing hijab in public school to express her courage. She will be in Boston for the award ceremony with her ELA/SS teacher Mrs. Ives.
